Kindness has restored faith in human nature

ON June 30 my wife had a fall in Northwich town centre resulting in cuts and bruises and small fractures to her right foot.

I was elsewhere in the town at the time but a number of kindly passers by helped my wife to a nearby bench seat and two ladies in particular took the time and trouble to try to find me.

In this day and age we read an awful lot about the bad things happening around us but the kindness and helpfulness shown to my wife restores one's faith in human nature.

My heartfelt thanks go to the ladies who stayed with my wife until I reached her, to Nancy, to Haley from Marks and Spencer for the loan of the wheelchair and to the staff at Northwich Infirmary for their prompt and efficient attention.
