THE DOCK ROAD EDWARDIAN PUMPING STATION
The Pumping Station is a Grade II listed building. It has unique pumps and gas powered engines, which have been restored to working order. The pumping station was opened in 1913 and for over sixty years was used for pumping sewage from part of the Northwich urban area to the Wallerscote treatment works. The station is located on Weir Street and is within the Northwich Water Heritage Trail.
