Vibrant times ahead for Moulton
Judges for Cheshire's Vibrant Village Competition have paid their annual visit and are expected to make their final decision before the end of August. Parish chairman Jo Kershaw said: "We met with the judges and seemed to receive positive vibes." The winning village will then be entered into the national competition. Parish councillors are also busy preparing for their own best kept garden competition and, after viewing each resident's botanical best, are considering adding new categories next year. Clr Denise Watkinson said: "There are one or two gardens that in no way would win the competition but their owners have really worked hard to make a good tidy entrance to the village. "It might be a good idea in future to make a note and thank them." Clr Kershaw suggested adding a neat and tidy category as a way to recognise other efforts. Winners of this year's competition will be announced in September and the parish council will review the categories in April next year. Vibrant times ahead for Moulton
