LITTLE LEIGH WI
MEMBERS and visitors were welcomed to the annual strawberry and wine evening held at the July meeting of Little Leigh WI. This was combined with the flower and plant show.

WARMINGHAM WI
AT the July meeting of Warmingham & District WI members fell under the spell of Barbara Foster, who stepped in and out of her role as Isabella Collins, housekeeper at Dunham Massey for three decades.

ENGLISH SPEAKING UNION
ON July 1, a most enjoyable garden party was held at the home of Jeanne Pumfrey, from the Vale Royal (Cheshire) Branch of the English Speaking Union. Once again the weather was magnificent and members were all able to sit outside in her lovely garden.

LACH DENNIS WI
PRESIDENT Olive Reed welcomed members to the July meeting of Lach Dennis WI and reported that the recent garden party at her home had been most successful.

COMBERBACH WI
THE July meeting of the Comberbach WI was a very hot one, with 45 members and three visitors attending.
